Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another person. It is a key ingredient in healthy relationships.

● Put themselves in another person’s shoes: They can imagine how the other person is feeling and why they are feeling that way.
● Acknowledge the other person’s feelings: They let the other person know that they understand how they are feeling.
